Location and Relief of Europe

Today we have worked on the borders of Europe, its mountaisn and its plains.
We have made an outline and a map.
In cas eyou didn't finish with it, here you have it.




Borders:
-          North: Arctic Ocean
-          West: Atlantic Ocean
-          East: Ural Mountains and Caspian Sea (Asia)
-          South: Mediterranenan Sea (Africa)
RELIEF
-          MOUNTAINS
o   Northern Europe (below 2,500 meters and rounded peaks)
§  Scandinavian Mountains (Galdhopiggen, 2,469m)
§  Ural Mountains
o   Southern Europe (highest)
§  Pyrinees (Aneto, 3,404m)
§  Alps (Mont Blanc, 4,807m)
§  Apennine Mountains (Gran Sasso, 2,912m)
§  Carpathians (Gerlachovsky, 2,655m)
§  Balkan mountains (Musala Peak, 2.925m; Mount Olympus, 2,911m)
§  Caucasus Mountains (Mount Elbrus, 5,642m)
-          PLAINS(main rivers flow through them)
o   Great European Plain. (From the north and Balitc Sea to the Alps and the Carpathians)
o   Eastern European Plain (From the White Sea and The Barents  Sea to the Ural Mountains)
